Native Spirit (Bluehorses)
The previous version of the Bluehorses web site was built some years ago and was starting to show it’s age, and to co-incide with the release of their new album an overhaul was needed. Expressionengine was chosen as a platform to base the site on, giving the site owner complete control over the content. Amongst the new features this brought was the ability to post news, reviews, photos, and very importantly a gig list using EE’s calendar function which was used to automatically display future gigs and archive previous ones. For the icing on the cake the addition of a Flash based jukebox allows the site owner to add sample tracks for site visitors to listen to.
