Upgrade your web browser
The chances are you’re viewing this web page using a version of Internet Explorer (IE) because it came pre-installed on your computer. If you’ve recently upgraded to version IE7 you can relax, but if you’re running an older version such as IE6, or even worse IE5.5, I urge you to upgrade for your own safety! You can download IE7 from the Microsoft IE home page.
Why bother upgrading?
Older versions of Internet Explorer web browser (versions 6 and older) suffer from many bugs and security holes that can be used by malicious hackers to gain access to your personal data, often despite any antivirus/firewall software you run. It’s a bit like leaving your front door open for anyone to come in and have a poke around, and you don’t want that do you? The latest version of Internet Explorer is a lot more secure than it’s predecessors making your online experience a lot safer, as well as introducing many new features.
Alternative web browsers
The good news is that you can download and use a different browser. The two worth looking at are Firefox and Opera.

The worlds favourite alternative to Internet Explorer and gaining in popularity. It’s fast, includes numerous security features, and wide variety of addons so you can customise it to work your way.
Opera - http://www.opera.com/
Often overlooked, Opera is a highly advanced, but easy to use, browser. It’s blazingly fast, ultra secure and free to download and use.
