Expressionengine 2.0 beta announced

It’s been a long time coming but in a recent blog post Ellislab have formerly announced the beat version of Expressionengine 2.0. This is quite a milestone because many developers have been like hungry wolves for it!

According to Ellislab’s CTO Derek Jones beta testing will be done in two phases;

Phase 1 closed beta

1. EE Developers
2. EE Pro Network
3. Private invitations

Phase 2 semi-open beta

This will apparently be via application for interested people.

All official updates will of course be posted on the EE blog.
