Blue Dreamer appears in Channel 4 documentry
It’s not every day you get to appear in front of camera, I think the last time was when I was a kid and was taken by my uncle to a Northants cricket match which was being shown live on TV - my mum spotted me!
Cut to the modern day and Gareth from Rentahedge, who is a customer of mine, asked me if I want to pop over and take part in a Channel 4 documentry that’s being made about him and his business. As ever I’m always pleased to help out so off I trundled to the Rentahedge offices on the agreed day.
I met Gareth and the lovely Anna who was shooting and directing filming on her own - I had visions of a complete crew to doing it all! The “plot” was for Gareth to be talking through some updates for his web site with me, and me offering various suggestions for new ideas. Of course nothing was scripted, we (including Anna) sat at Gareths computer for the afternoon just chatting and browsing the site talking. At various points Anna would sit and take footage of us, gathering enough to be able to incorporate into the programme in whatever context she wanted.
The documentry is called Channel 4 Tricky Business and you can catch it from time to time on Channel4 Learning.
